How Long Do

Fillers Last?

A:

The honest answer? It depends — and that’s normal.

Filler longevity varies from person to person based on things like metabolism, lifestyle, anatomy, and the product used. Emerging research also suggests that hyaluronic acid fillers can last longer than we once thought, even when they’re no longer visibly “full.”

That said, the sweet spot for best-looking results is typically around 6 months to 1 year. This doesn’t mean your filler disappears at that point — some clients still have plenty of product, while others may have metabolized more.

Our Recommendation:
Plan a follow-up around 6–8 months after your initial treatment. At that visit, we’ll assess your lips together and decide whether a small touch-up makes sense or if it’s better to let things breathe.

There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline — and we prefer it that way.
